The Beauty Salon Standards Committee (BSSC) is a public organization founded in 2009 in Kyiv. We form professional standards in training and help beauty specialists build a career.
BSSC was the first to create a unique 6-level master development system and a qualification confirmation procedure — assessing the level of skill regardless of experience or education.
We also accredit beauty schools and academies, guaranteeing students high-quality training.Today, BSSC is a sign of trust and development for all beauty specialists.

Accreditation of centers
The Beauty Salon Standards Committee accredits educational centers in the field of beauty. This means that your school meets the BSSC/GCM standards and has the right to issue certificates from the BSSC.

How to understand your level?
There are 6 levels of qualification for a beauty master in the BSSC.
Your level is determined by a combination of experience, quality of work, merit and influence in the profession.
Level 6 - Experience from 0. This is the start: you have just graduated and are taking your first steps in the profession.
Level 5 - Experience from 1 year. A confident practitioner who performs basic commercial techniques.
Level 4 - Experience from 3 years. An experienced master who follows trends and performs complex techniques with high quality.
Level 3 - Experience from 7 years. The highest practical level: a master who sets trends, creates new techniques and shapes trends.
Level 2 - national expert: recognized in his country, acts as a speaker, judge, authority in the profession.
Level 1 - international expert: an influential person of world class.
To find out your real level, it is enough to go through the qualification confirmation procedure.How does the qualification confirmation procedure work?
You submit an application. Prepare your professional resume, links to social networks and your best 10-15 photos/videos of your work. These materials are transferred to an accredited teacher, who determines the format of the confirmation. This can be an oral interview, testing or practical assignment. Online or offline format.After the teacher's conclusion, you pay for the confirmation and receive the documents.IMPORTANT: The teacher may charge additional fees for his work!
When is the payment made?
Payment is made after the qualification level is confirmed by an accredited teacher.
How much does it cost to confirm the qualification?
The cost of confirming the qualification depends on your level. You can find out the current cost of confirmation from the manager.
I am in another country. Can I confirm my level online?
Yes. Confirmation of qualification can be done online.
I want to get school accreditation. Why do I need to confirm my level?
Only masters who have 4 or higher (3, 2, 1) qualification levels can get school accreditation. So first you need to confirm your personal level.
What documents will I receive after confirming my qualification?
You will receive a BSSC certificate (in Ukrainian or English), a career growth book (Ukrainian or English) and a BSSC brand badge. Information about the master is entered into the official database, so if necessary, you can always get a duplicate.
Can I choose a teacher myself who will confirm my level?
Yes. You can contact an accredited teacher yourself. If not, we will select an expert for you.
I lost my certificates. Can I get a duplicate?
Yes. You can get a duplicate.
Do you send documents to other countries?
Yes. We send documents to any country in the world (except the Russian Federation). Shipping outside Ukraine is paid by the recipient.
How long does it take to confirm qualifications?
From the moment of submitting a complete package of documents, the procedure takes from 3 to 10 days, depending on the workload of the experts.
